Doctor Management
Michael Gray Dr. Renee's husband spends all his "free time" taking care of the considerable business side of the hospital. He works full time as a computer technician/consultant at a large company in Bellevue. He also enjoys working on the upkeep of our little farm, keeping the critters fenced in and out of mud. We are very fortunate to have him as an owner and manager. | View |

Let me tell you a story. One day, just a few days after I turned fifteen, View my stepmother came home after being at our local veterinary clinic and stated " I got you a job". I was suprised, but excited at the same time. They didn't make me go in for an interview, they just told my stepmother to have me come in for training that following weekend. I was to become their newest Hospital Attendant. I didn't know what the meant or what the job entailed, but the idea of working at a vet clinic did appeal to me. I completed my training and started working there after school, two days during the week and on the weekends. The job was dirty, complicated, disgusting, and difficult, but also very rewarding and satisfying. I loved it, and that was when I realized I had a real passion and dedication for animals. That was ten years ago and none of that passion or dedication has died off.
My name is Cori DeZarn, and I am the Hospital Supervisor here at Lake Stevens Animal Hospital. For five years I worked at my local vet clinic up in Skagit County, where I worked my way up from Hospital Attendant to a Veterinart Assistant, with some Receptionist training. I joined Lake Stevens Animal Hospital in April of 2004 as a Veterinary Assistant. I then moved into a fill-in Receptionist position and eventually became the Receptionist Supervisor, all while still assisting. In August of 2007, I became the Hospital Supervisor. I now help in all positions when needed and enjoy the diversity that this job entails. I live with my boyfriend of seven years and our "children"; two cats "Rocky" & "Kioshi", two Chinchillas "Chili" & " Lili", and one dog "Madi". We enjoy taking "Madi" out wherever we go; hiking, camping, fishing, biking, ect. I love to read books and watch movies. I also love the ever-changing weather in Washington and enjoy being indoors on rainy/snowy days and love being outdoors on those rare sunny/warm days. My future goal is to take the Veterinary Technicians National Exam and become a licensed Tech. |

HI! my name is Terra and I am the Veterinary Assistant here at View LSAH. I was lucky enough to join this wonderful team back in May of 2008. Before coming to LSAH, I went to school at Sno-Isle Tech High School for Veterinary Assisting. I have one kid, a Boston Terrier named "Tug". He turned a year in May of 2009 and is full of energy, which keeps me very busy! Soon we will be welcoming a new member to our family, her name is "Mojito", she is a Bengal kitten and was born on April 21st, 2009. For fun you will find me inside watching a movie during the winter months and riding my jet ski during the summer monthes. I am very family oriented and enjoy spending my time with them. I'm currently in school to become a registered nurse, I hope to be done with my schooling in 4 years. |

Hi my name is Kayla Nicholson. I'm one of the View receptionists that will greet you when you come in or call on the phone. I have two Miniature Horses "Tex" and "Missy", one Miniature Brahma Bull "Gus", one cat "Rascal" one Chihuahua "Goliath" and one Fiance "Jeff". We have been together since February of 2007, and will be getting married October 17th, 2009. We enjoy going to miniature horse shows all over the northwest. I have been showing since 1998, and recently started showing/exhibiting "Gus" at the Puyallup Fair. I have been here for almost 6 years. I took about 1 1/2 years off to enjoy my horses down in Oregon and when I was ready to come back I found out that my position here at the Animal Hosptial was open, so I took it! I'm glad to be back and would love to be here for many years to come. |

My name is Kristina Nordby and I am the Hospital Attendant here at View Lake Stevens Animal Hospital. July of 2007 is when I started working here and it has certainly become one of the greatest learning experiences of my life, so far. I love both the people and the animals that I share my days with. What I do here as the Hospital Attendant is; help assist the nurses, help restrain the animals, autoclave all the tools that we use for surgery, take in boarders, give baths and many other important duties. I enjoy the fact that I get to learn and see new things everyday, as well as being involved with the care of all the animals that we see. I have two Yorkshire Terriers named "Bud" and "Lou", whom were to shy to have their picture taken with me. My future goals are to continue my education and become a registered nurse. |
